Another tough category! Gluten free hamburger buns are often crumbly and lack flavor. I don’t find a lot of gluten free hamburger bun options in supermarkets either. So there aren’t a ton of comparisons to be made. All of that being said, I think Canyon Bakehouse makes the softest and least crumbly gluten free hamburger bun that I have been able to buy in a store. They truly do a great job with their breads in general and their gluten free hamburger buns are no exception.
The flavor of Canyon Bakehouse’s gluten free hamburger buns is great. I don’t think they need to be toasted, but that’s how my husband likes them.
Now, consider this- we make our burgers pretty large in our house. They are all about 1/4 pound. My husband and I both like our burgers with lots of toppings like cheese, tomatoes and lettuce at a minimum. Picture all of that on a Canyon Bakehouse gluten free hamburger bun! It holds all of that without falling apart or crumbling. That is a tough job for any burger bun, gluten free or not! So even though there aren’t a lot of options to compare it to, I think it still speaks volumes for how good Canyon Bakehouse’s bun are.
Canyon Bakehouse’s gluten free hamburger buns are allergy friendly too! They are free from soy, dairy, tree nuts and peanuts.
