There are all kinds of allergy friendly and gluten free options at California Burger Company in Lake Tahoe, California! You’ll see that most of the menu is marked as gluten free.
The burgers are fresh, juicy and delicious. And the buns are soft and don’t fall apart. They have standard toppings and lots of unique options like avocados, bourbon bacon, grilled mushrooms and pineapple. Then they add sauces like house made garlic aioli, tangy teriyaki, pesto or chipotle mayo to add another layer of flavor too. California Burger Company takes gluten free burgers to a whole new level!
If beef isn’t your thing, they have turkey and veggie burgers (although the veggie burger is not gluten free). They also have gluten free salads, soups and other sides. Their mild chicken wings are gluten free too. The French fries and sweet potato tots are cooked in their own dedicated fryer. Whoop! Whoop! When I saw the the “adult” grilled cheese sandwich on the menu, I had to order it and it was really awesome! Three cheeses, bacon, tomato, pesto and avocado, grilled to perfection. It won my heart.
Every server we came across was knowledgeable about gluten issues and cross contamination.
