Awesome gluten free pizza at Base Camp Pizza in Lake Tahoe, California! They have the gluten free pizza thing down pat. Great crust, lots of great toppings, they understand cross contamination and keeping pizza safe for celiacs.
We’ve eaten at Base Camp Pizza at least twice each time we’ve been to Lake Tahoe. We usually order a pepperoni pizza for the kids to share and my husband and I go for the Mediterranean, Pear and Gorgonzola or the Fire Roasted Medley. For meat lovers, the Base Camp with pepperoni and sausage or the Smokey BBQ Chicken & Bacon sound amazing. I am looking forward to trying the Thai Chicken Curry pizza on our next visit. It's always good to leave something to bring you back, right?
I know they offer other items on their menu that are gluten free, but we’ve never gone beyond the pizza because it is so yummy. As a heads up though, if you have a kid who doesn't like pizza (say what?!?!), they do offer gluten free chicken fingers. Just so you know;-)
Base Camp Pizza is located in the heart of Heavenly Village where you can check out shops, bars or take a spin at the ice rink in the winter after dinner.
