Eating gluten free at the Sandpearl Resort was a breeze! I have visited the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach, Florida two times. Once was for a day trip to the spa and the other was an overnight. I ordered food from the spa, had room service, ate at their Marketplace, pool side and inside Tate Island Grill. Every time I ordered food from each location, the menus were clearly labeled with gluten free items. The staff was always helpful and friendly with answering questions and making sure that I was ordering items that would be safe. I didn’t have any problems at all on either of my visits. It definitely makes vacationing more relaxing when you know that you can eat at the resort too!
They also allowed me to bring outside food to the pool and spa. Not all resorts allow that, so I appreciated how easy they made our time there and how accommodating they were to my needs. Granted, it is a luxury resort, so you hope that these types of places will cater to your needs. I can say from experience though, that it is not always the case unfortunately. The Sandpearl Resort was not only a fabulous place to stay but also a safe place for me to eat. That is a big win for the gluten free and food allergy team!
