Posana is a dedicated gluten free restaurant! They offer fine dining quality food, in a more casual setting, with great options for the kiddos too. They have everything from freshly made pasta (and it is ah-mazing!) to bagels for brunch. And it is all gluten free. Steak, fish, chicken, lots of locally sourced, sustainable and seasonal ingredients are what they pride themselves in offering.
A homemade biscuit is offered with their Southern Eggs Benedict. House made Poppyseed Brioche is used for their French Toast. They even have Ricotta Gnocchi with cheddar sauce on the kid's menu! They hit the mark on so many of the items that are difficult to make gluten free.
My family went for dinner to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We were all so excited about our options, that we ordered much more than we should have (you may have noticed that we do this a lot). Then we proceeded to eat everything! We even ordered every dessert on the menu, just so we could try everything. It was all so incredible that we. ate. it. all. Talk about gluttony! It is so rare to find this kind of food in a dedicated gluten free restaurant that we went hog wild.
Posana is located in downtown Asheville, North Carolina. After you enjoy your fabulous meal, there are lots of cute shops to check out while you walk off all that you just consumed. That is what we did anyhow;-)
