Pretzels
Snyder’s of Hanover wins my vote for best gluten free and allergy friendly pretzels. The texture & flavor is perfect without any mouth residue (why do other brands have that?). They are crispy without being grainy. Snyder’s pretzels look and taste just like you would expect them to.
The gluten free and allergy friendly pretzels are available in sticks and twists. They also make flavored varieties like Honey Mustard and Onion & Hot Buffalo Wing … yum! I love bringing them on road trips to snack on in the car, but make sure to have some wet wipes nearby because the delicious coating will get all over your fingers! It is totally worth it though;-)
I like the twists for scooping up dips. Try them with my Candy Bar Whip recipe. You can use any kind of candy bars that fit your allergy needs. This dip is gobbled up in a flash every time I make it. You can sub the cream cheese with your favorite dairy free variety and the whipped cream with dairy free as well if needed. Check my Substitutions section for more ideas.
Another fun idea!! You can also make a super quick and simple sweet treat by laying out the twists on a parchment lined baking sheet, then put one Rolo candy on top of each twist. Bake at 300 degrees just until they start to soften (about 4-5 minutes). Take them out of the oven and quickly press a half of a pecan, a small slice of apple, another pretzel twist or a small candy like an M&M in the middle. Let them cool, then gobble them up!
All four of their varieties contain soy, but are free of all of the other big allergens.
